I got to know Eiscafe Mario Gelato through my brother in Leipzig. Nice selection of food and drinks. But what I really fell in love with with the Eisacafe was the strawberry chocolate cup. So delicious. When I got back in Frankfurt. I went to various ice cream parlors and also ordered a strawberry shock cup there. However, in terms of taste, I wasn't as convinced of it as with the ice cream parlor Mario Gelato. On every visit to Leipzig, an absolute must for me personally, to stop there and eat an ice cream. If there were more stars, I would give them too.

We are happy to respond to individual requests (of course within a reasonable framework). Despite the Corona rules, a visit to the ice cream parlor is a great experience. I can only say that as a guest I have always received excellent service and the food and ice cream were excellent. You should note that the Corona regulations also apply here and the owner is obliged to implement them. It is very sad for children with disabilities who certainly suffer from it and I cannot imagine that this owner should have chosen these words.

The one star is actually too much, because what I experienced here today shocked me. We were 2 adults and 2 mentally disabled children. We wanted to give the kids a nice vacation day in vacation care. The children were each given a scoop of ice cream and since a child cannot eat independently, we sat outside at the table. All the tables were empty except for one, because it was only shortly after 10:00 in the morning. The owner (?) Came up to us and asked us to get up because with just one ball on his hand, you can't sit there. I explained the situation to him that I couldn't hand the ice cream to this child and said that we would definitely not pay a visit there again. His answer was analogous to this, we will not miss you and see you again. Too bad, because the holidays are still long and we would have eaten ice cream there more often with children. But with so little understanding and tolerance for people with disabilities, we will avoid this business in the future.

Unfortunately, we were not served outside, as no staff was available. Nevertheless, the reception was friendly. The coffee was very strong. The price for a scoop of ice cream was already neat.

Tasted very good, portions more than plentiful. Beef liver with apple onion vegetables and mashed potatoes. Smaller portions or 1/2 would be very nice. There you could enjoy a nice ice cream or ice-cream choc at the end.
